Rx GHK-Cu

A critical broadsheet on the GHK-Cu copper-peptide literature — the copper tripeptide's mechanism set in plain type, with what the evidence establishes printed in black and what it still cannot promise stamped in the margin.

Study amounts only · No care plan

GHK-Cu has no approved human dose by any route.

This page lists what lab teams gave each kind of test subject and how the copper bond can break.

GHK-Cu amounts here belong only to the studies

GHK-Cu has no approved human dose by any route. The amounts below belong only to published studies.

A dish test used about one-billionth of a chemistry mole per liter or less, written as 10^-12 through 10^-11 M, with most near 10^-9 M [1]. Those lab figures do not turn into an amount for you.

Animal amounts and skin-product strengths come from very different tests. Each number belongs with its own test subject.

One dish test used about one-billionth of a chemistry mole per liter or less, written as 10^-12 through 10^-11 M, with most near 10^-9 M [1]. Those amounts led skin cells to make more collagen.

GHK gels caused no cell harm from 1 to 500 billionths of a gram per milliliter [13]. The two dish tests measured different cells and results.

Studied creams, serums, and gels held about 0.05% to 2% GHK-Cu by product weight [3]. Those strengths still aren't approved doses.

Mouse belly-shot studies ranged from micrograms per gram to milligrams per kilogram. Nose studies gave about 15 milligrams per kilogram of body weight.

Bowel work gave 20 milligrams per kilogram by mouth [6]. Mouse amounts do not set a safe amount for a man.

The human ALAVAX trial put a GHK mix on the scalp at 50-100 milligrams per milliliter [9]. That amount belongs only to that mixed hair product.

GHK-Cu's time in the human body remains unknown

Researchers have not measured how long GHK-Cu stays in the human body [6]. Free GHK left rat blood quickly after a vein dose.

Other writing estimates 1-2 hours. Copper-bound GHK might remain longer, but that isn't a firm human finding.

The paper gave skin passage as 2.43 x 10^-4 centimeters per hour. In plain terms, very little crossed each hour.

About 97 micrograms per cm^2, meaning each square centimeter of skin, stayed for 48 hours [5]. That did not show how a shot acts through the whole body.

Most human GHK-Cu tests put it on skin

GHK-Cu has been tested most often on skin. Studies used creams, serums, fat-based carriers, wound dressings, soft gels, and tiny fibers [10][15].

Rat and mouse work included belly shots and nose drops, and liquid put into the stomach [6][16]. Other rat studies used vein, under-skin, deep-skin, or small-needle routes.

Those routes help you see where the compound has been tested. Nearly all human evidence sits at the skin end of the list.

GHK-Cu color can show when the copper bond changes

GHK-Cu holds copper firmly [6]. The best mix has one copper part to one peptide part, a 1:1 match.

The expected color is blue-violet. A brown or green shade can mean the copper changed or settled out [6].

Very acidic vitamin C can break the bond. Skin-peeling acids may also disturb the copper.

Labels may call those products glycolic acid or salicylic acid. Pure vitamin C may appear as ascorbic acid.

Free GHK passes poorly through the skin's outer layer. Researchers tested fat-linked GHK, liquid carriers, and small needles to improve passage [10].

Color offers a useful warning. A person can't judge safety by color alone.

Human GHK-Cu proof is small and skin-based

Most human evidence consists of small GHK-Cu skin studies. Groups of roughly 20-71 people reported fewer fine lines and firmer, thicker skin.

One 6-month, 45-patient hair trial tested ALAVAX [9]. No completed Phase 2/3 trial has tested whole-body or injected GHK-Cu.

Such later trials test whether a drug helps people and track common harms. They could help set a safe dose, but none has happened here.

A skin-wound trial named CuHeal has been listed, but a listing isn't a result. Community shot plans lack sound human proof [6].
